Are all boutiques FINRA Broker-dealers?
Im wondering if putting "FINRA Broker-Dealer" on my resume next to my bank's name that I'm summering at would help legitimize it? I'm an undergrad and will be applying to BB's.
Or are all investment banks FINRA Broker-Dealer/member SIPC (ie not a distinguishable trait?)

No, they aren't all B/Ds, even though the laws state they should be. But, you should not put that next to your boutique's name. It's a useless piece of information to a resume reader.
