are assessment centres/superday always in person?
hi all. i applied for an off cycle internship at an EB in London and their HR just had a call with me today. the call was essentially a first interview, all behavioural questions. she outlined the recruitment process and as expected there is an AC/superday as a final step. i am curious because i know this bank held their ACs online before. i didnt get the chance to ask her so i wanna make sure of this. are the ACs in person? if so and i am currently out of London, do i get refused automatically?
also to prepare should i go ahead and get a standard UK visitor visa just in case?
Following
Depends on EB but.
EVR - in person
PJT - online
PWP - online
Moelis - online
Anyone feel free to include other EBs.
Lazard is also virtual.
Hi there, I have a Lazard AC coming up soon for the SA in London. Do you have any advice?
HL RX - in person
Nomura in person for London at least
OP it’s best to assume yours will be in person in which case they’ll invite u and pay your ticket don’t fret
Edit: Rothschild in person as well
In my experience most are in person but some are online. EBs seem to lean online as per above post.
What about BBs?
JPM virtual pretty sure
Yes JP is virtual. Can confirm 100%.
I haven’t heard of any BB doing AC online tbh. I know MS & GS do it in person 100% though
Barclays is virtual (SA’s) unless it’s a graduate role (can personally verify IBD at the very least)
Citi is virtual
Barclays online too, lots of BB’s are virtual.
UBS is virtual this year
