Bro how could you possibly even be grinding 6hrs a day for ib?? Like behaviorals r not that complicated, and if you’ve taken even a basic finance class you should know 90% of the technicals. The helpless sweatiness is palpable and if you give the impression that just recruiting is killing you, how can you imagine people thinking you’ll survive the job?

And that’s why im getting a SA offer and you’re not. Recruiting imo is way more draining due to the uncertainty of getting in - once i’m in ib unless you fuck up bad, you won’t get laid off.

Bro good on you for working so hard that will take you far. However, you need to calm down and be a bit more humble. You just told a guy who you didn’t even know that he wasn’t getting an offer and you were. You didn’t even know this guy. And turns out, he’s been through recruiting and had success. So please, take a step back and be a bit more humble I get you’re grinding for this and I get it because I am as well, but that’s no reason to treat anybody like shit and be arrogant. I hope you are able to better your mindset and best of luck with recruiting.

8am-3pm with an hour lunch break doesn’t seem unbearable to me.

I did similar hours for banking recruiting - it’s kind of funny to me people are giving you shit about that😂
