Are Psych majors eligible for STEM extension in IBD?

I know for a fact that most of the psychology-related majors have been added to the list of majors eligible for STEM Visa extension. But since the STEM extension applies in case the student works in an area related to his/her STEM major, I am not quite sure if the psych major gig will work for STEM Visa extension in IBD.

Can anyone with experience on this matter share some insight on this issue? Thanks!!

The qualifying STEM degree needs to be on DHS's STEM Designated Degree Program List at the time the student submits their application for the STEM OPT extension. Google it - you're welcome.
