Are Springweek Insights necessary for London IBD SA?

Hey guys, Would not doing a spring insight program be a significant disadvantage to securing a SA offer in London? I'm an incoming MSF student at a target program from non-EU country and don't know if I can afford a trip there Quick stats: relevant experience at BBs and PE experience with 3.7 GPA from Asia thou no European language fluency :(

Thanks in advance!

It's definitely not a requirement. During my internship at a BB only a handful of students were recruited through the spring week. However, when applying for SAs, it does help in terms of pre-selection and showing banks you are utterly interested in IBD

That's a relief. I guess my past BB experience might compensate a bit . Thx :))

No, spring weeks are notoriously difficult to get in the UK, even for target students. I wouldn't stress.
