Trying to get up to speed for my future work. I plan to learn some advanced excel stuff, including vba. I was just wondering if excel 2007 has been/ will be widely adopted by the bb banks, consulting firms, etc, or if it looks as if we're going to skip this generation of microsoft office.

With 1 million rows you can do a lot of quantitative analytic work in Excel 2007 that you just could not do with the older version.
Excel 2007 is a huge step up from the previous version.

The extra rows are nice, but still not a fan of the new layout and change of menu.
