Hey all,
Im a first year analyst at a small boutique and before the whole COVID-caused downturn recently was networking hard trying hard to make a lateral move to a larger bank this summer. Since the economic downturn I've stopped cold emailing people, but now I am wondering if I should start again? What are you all doing? Do you expect the job market to pick up this summer?

I’m in a similar boat as you and have the same questions. not much input here but following this post. Most of my contacts I’ve talked to seem unsure what the summer will look like as far as hiring and onboarding goes. I figured I would still continue networking though.
