As1 TC gap widens to 100k+?

MBA Class of 2021 here. This past bonus cycle was the first full year bonus for our class. After surveying classmates seems like most BB’s paid in the pre-Covid range of 250-300 yet EBs almost all paid in 375-425 range. Is this the general ranges others are hearing as well or is my sample a bit biased?

Yup - at an EB in NY and hearing very similar numbers in my circle as well. A few are in the low 200’s all in and consistently work way longer hours than I do (looking at you JPM). BBs can get away this and not lose massive number of heads simply because there are so few seats at EB’s and so there’s no where for people to go (if they want to stay in Banking). A typical BB hires ~50 Associates in NY? CVP is 5? per class, PJT is ~10, EVR is a bigger at ~35 and then toss in Moelis and you see what I mean
