Asia Pacific Recruitment Timeline and Networking

Hey guys,

I'm new to the forum and this is actually my first post. I completed my Bachelors's in the US in May and recently moved back to Southeast Asia for IB Analyst opportunities here, especially Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam. The area has great growth potentials and is close to my family so I really hope to make a career here. Does anyone know how recruitment works in these areas? I'm pretty sure BBs have all finished their hiring for next year. If anyone knows about the recruitment timeline among the boutiques that would be greatly appreciated.

Also, any insights into the networking and the culture in the region? I know they are not exactly the same in the US. I'm living in Vietnam and wondering how you would network with someone in another country, like Singapore or Malaysia?

I spent most of my college career in the US and don't know much about the Southeast Asia market. So any help and insights (resources, articles, culture, recruitment, networking, boutique/regional company lists, etc.) would be greatly greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance!
