Asia to the US for FT (Dual Citizen)
Hi! I might be interning in Asia this summer for IB, but I would ideally like to work in the US full-time. If I have American citizenship, is lateraling pretty straightforward?
Thanks!

Still next to impossible tbh. Moving countries is tricky even as a FT with years of experience, Asian internships are also heavily discounted in the US. I'd say very slim shot as a summer and you could be jeopardizing your Asia offer by trying internally.
If I were you, don't try to go internal and recruit for external only. Worth a shot but I would say unlikely. Most places will let you lateral internally at 12 or 18 months.
