Ask for a raise or not? Just a thought.

I'm in the middle of an internal move and my replacement (who I also just trained) unexpectedly gave their notice and is planning on leaving next week. Should I offer to stay one more month with my old team to help out, doing bare essentials for my old team, while also coming on full time with my new team, conditioned on a raise or one-time bonus? I have no problem working more hours for a month, as long as its well-compensated.

This is just a thought btw. Thanks!

Personally wouldn't especially considering everything going on and how asking for raises aren't common in this industry. Not sure about how it works in risk management though. But I think you should just transfer anyway, unless your old group really needs you, then it's about being a team player versus putting your own interests first (not saying this is the bad option, just couldn't find a way to reword it).
