Associate Compensation / Base Pay
There was some speculation over the last year about associate base pay moving about $25k across all levels. I am wondering if you have actually seen this (I haven't seen an update since year end has rolled around and wonder if this pay bump actually took effect for most banks)
What is your current level and base pay?
Thanks
This is what my bank has, and think it's pretty standard (correct me if I'm wrong):
A0 = 125k A1 = 150k A2 = 175k A3 = 200k
I think A0 has moved towards $150k but otherwise the above is standard. There was some speculation that comp would move towards:
A0 150 A1 175 A2 200 A3 225
but so far have been unable to confirm
Agreed. A0 comp is pretty easy to find based on MBA employment reports. Median base is around 150k
At boutique Intern 150k A0 150k (some 175k)
At BB Intern 125k A0 150k
Im interning at a BB this summer and my base is 150 and so are my friends at other BBs
Interning at an EB this summer. Base is 160k.
$150k standard now. Question is do you bump to $175k goin A0 to A1?
Yes - this is what I am trying to find out
I'm in the process for CS / Citi in SF for associate. Can someone give the latest breakdown for associate base?

thanks a ton bud
$1.25 in gold and silver pennies
what’s your base & bonus breakdown if you don’t mind
.
This is from 20+ MBA people I have talked with:
A0: 150k
A1: 150k
A2: 175k
A3: 200k
This is considered "street" from what I have heard. Numbers different from this are either above or below "street."
Agree
This is correct
This sentence is spelled correctly
any idea on target or median bonuses as a %?
What about bonuses?
What about it?
A friend at Citi mentioned:
A0: 150
A1: 150
A2: 175
A3: 200
I don't get why banks say A0. Just call it A1. You're basically anassociate for about 3.5-4 years. Should just be A1-A4.
Because lots of zeroes going their way
