Associate Expected Bonuses

Self explanatory title.

Associates, what bonus do you expect for this year? Also, is this expectation up or down from last years?

Currently going to be receiving my first associate bonus and am trying to get an estimate on what to expect.

I’ll be receiving my first full year Assoc bonus in February. At a BB in a product group

Revenue for our product is only down 15-20% this year, but going in with low expectations

My bonuses as a top bucket analyst for 2 years were 100% and 125% respectively, but think that train stops here

Guessing something like $125k-$150k.

Guess we’ll see

I think people are kidding themselves that they will only trim bonuses from last year. It's not that revenue is down THAT much, it's that next year doesn't look like it's going to pick up.

The bonuses are partially backward looking, but also significantly forward looking.

I think realistic for Associate 1s is 100-150k, I know a lot of people will say that's low, but I believe that's the sobering reality, not to mention they raised base salaries 25k+ so can jaw-bone about total comp vs. bonus...

I think a lot of associates are just hoping to avoid upcoming layoffs - let alone thinking about bonus numbers. Big announcements from top banks at groups that will likely see very little deal flow in the next 2-3 quarters. Hopefully - I didnt make a grave error purchasing a restoration hardware cloud couch during these times...
