Associate keeping us awake super late

Associate is keeping me and my senior analyst up crazy late (at least 2:30am, 3:30-4 regularly) working on things for a live deal that we feel could be done in the morning. it's gotten to the point where we are pretty sleep deprived and making mistakes as a result. We really can't bring it up to the VP b/c we think he's gonna be on the ASO's side ("client needs this ASAP") and also the ASO might hate us and take it out on us at a later time. The comments are also pretty nitty and don't move the needle. Gets me pretty pissed and have come close to saying "can you make these changes yourself" multiple times. I'm usually a night owl and am fine staying up late but I feel like the hours we're putting in are taking a toll. Not really sure what to do. Don't want to give off the impression that I'm lazy, but feel like this is pretty extreme.

As long as he is staying up as late as you are, deal with it.

“Destiny is a gift. Some go their entire lives, living existences of quiet desperation, never learning the truth that what feels as though a burden pushing down upon their shoulders is really a sense of purpose that lifts us to greater heights. Never forget that fear is but the precursor to valor, that to strive and triumph in the face of fear is what it means to be a hero. Don’t think. Become.”

Will update my computer soon and leave Incognito so I will disappear forever. How did I achieve Neanderthal by trolling? Some people are after me so need to close account for safety.
