Has anyone here lateraled as an Associate to a completely unrelated coverage group? Or know anyone who has?
I'm in a RE coverage group, and am interested in restructuring, healthcare, tech, etc. But RE has very little overlap with those groups and I don't want to reset as an analyst - is a move like this possible? Or if I were to go back to being an analyst, how long until associate promotion could be an option?
