ATAR importance for IB in Australia

Curious how much weight ATAR actually carries when breaking into IB. I understand there's an informal ATAR cutoff of 95+ at Australian EBs and BBs. My ATAR was 88, but I've maintained a HD WAM in Commerce at a target university and have internship experience at smaller boutiques since.

Does that combination realistically offset a lower ATAR at EB/BB applications, or is ATAR still checked as a hard filter regardless of what you've done since?

Just don't include ur atar in ur resume lol it'll do more harm than good. HD WAM should be more then enough to pass the resume screening and past that then it's about how you perform in the interview. I've only ever heard of a very very small few EB even asking for your ATAR.
