Atl or Charlotte CMBS
Hey guys...could I get some opinions on Atl or Charlotte CMBS with either JPM or MS. Also, I would like to know the hours a first year would expect to work and a bonus estimate. Thanks!
JPM ATL CMBS has a lot of kids from Tulane and UGA. Expect 40-60 work weeks.
recruits at elite-schools. Most of the CMBS guys I've met in SF and NYC all came from top 20 schools.
I know someone working there, and it's not really front-office work, and it doesn't pay even close to street. Maybe he's on a different side of the office, though.
Yeeah...I know they offer competitive salaries, but do you know what kinda bonus to expect?
The base salary of the kid I'm referring to is not "competitive."

both
cities are quite different...atlanta is really almost a major city. charlotte is not.
i've been to both, and had/have friends who lived in both. go to atlanta if you can.
