AT&T buys Time Warner
The New York Times just reported that Time Warner is going to be bought by AT&T. This deal will be massive as AT&T is prepared to pay $85.4 Billion ($107.50 a share in half-cash, half-stock deal) according to WSJ "AT&T will tap $40 billion in bridge loans, a person said, with $25 billion coming from J.P. Perhaps the most interesting tidbit of the article, however, pertained to the election and how it would influence the transaction.
I don't intend this to be another Trump vs. Hillary thread, just found his stance on the matter incredible interesting.
On another, less political note, good time to invest in some AT&T stock?
