Awkward situation - need help please!!!
So around last year I had an off cycle internship at a boutique and it didn’t end quite well. I had a fallout with my MD and they ended it a few weeks earlier than planned. They mentioned general “behavioural issues” but I didn’t really feel bad about it as I was prepping to go back to school. I’m finalising an offer with a BB who are unfortunately based in the same building. Idk if people know each other from both firms but idk how to handle it if they end up knowing. I just told them that I didn’t get a return offer and that seemed to be a non issue, thankfully. To give you an idea, this is the financial district of a European city so offices here are small and so there’s a possibility that people know each other.
How do I handle this?
