Awkward situation - need help please!!!
So around last year I had an off cycle internship at a boutique and it didn’t end quite well. I had a fallout with my MD and they ended it a few weeks earlier than planned. They mentioned general “behavioural issues” but I didn’t really feel bad about it as I was prepping to go back to school. I’m finalising an offer with a BB who are unfortunately based in the same building. Idk if people know each other from both firms but idk how to handle it if they end up knowing. I just told them that I didn’t get a return offer and that seemed to be a non issue, thankfully. To give you an idea, this is the financial district of a European city so offices here are small and so there’s a possibility that people know each other.
How do I handle this?

He felt I was disrespecting him when I listened to music during working hours. Mind you, most of the time I was listening to music was mostly quiet times of doing some pitches and stuff. Nothing really disrespectful. But he was massive bitch about it
The point of an internship is to learn as much as you can. I'd be annoyed too - you learn subtle but important human skills from people not from technology, just to be clear.
Thinking he is a bitch about it just shows your character. If I were you, I'd try to humble yourself. Your arrogance will get you in more trouble than this if you don't check it. And that's not a threat it's me speaking from experience.
As long as the kid is on the shit and responds to people when spoken to there shouldn't be any issue with listening to music while aligning his fucking logos. Are you German?
Some managers, especially of older generations, might feel slighted, or something. We don't know the entire situation, but if it was logos then yes seems like an overreaction.
