I've come across kids from Babson on linkedin at BAML, JPM, Rothschild, Harris Williams, and probably others I can't remember. Not sure why you're focused on BNP specifically, but yeah IB is possible out of Babson presumably if you kill it academically, get involved with the investment club, and network a lot. Not sure what on-campus recruiting is like though, if there is any.

Thanks WinstonWolf, I'm decided between STERN BABSON and FORDHAM. I'd love to go to stern, but it's cutthroat and heavy attention towards IB (5,000+ undergrads want to end up working on Wall Street) isn't worth going there. Plus the student loans. Since BABSON and Fordham are up and coming semi targets, I think I'm willing to bust through a 4.0 and join as many business/IB Clubs as I can

I don't mean to sound rude or insensitive, and I was similar to you when I was deciding on colleges (which school has the better ranking, etc.), but I wouldn't use the WSO rankings as your definitive guide when deciding on a college. At a certain point, you need to stop looking at rankings and just decide where you feel you would be happiest. The only reason why I am bringing this up is because I have noticed a few posts about rankings and which school out of the following schools is best, etc. Things can change in life and at the end of the day you need to be happy with where you go.

I think the thing you really need to consider is location, and school size. NYU is in the middle of manhattan and has over 25k undergrads plus grad students. Babson is smaller (like 3k I think) and is located in the middle of one of Boston's nicest suburbs. Fordham is in the bronx (has an actual campus unlike NYU) and has like 8-9k kids I think.

Bottom line pick a school where you feel you fit in and will be successful, because ultimately if your grades stink than you won't have any shot at IB.

Bud, if you're goal is IB or wall street, you'd be hard pressed to do better than NYU. They have many alumni (for networking), some of the best on-campus recruiting IN THE COUNTRY, and a lot of grads go in FO jobs. It's a big target. Make the forty year decision, not the four year decision. Go to NYU.

I think I'll choose BABSON. It's good education with a chance to get into clubs and also get my hands on the student investment fund. Also, a 3.8+ won't be hard at Babdon. Plus, if I land sophomore internships, it'll put me in a good place when I compete junior year for summer internships at boutiques like SunTrust
