Back office intern JP Morgan instant message

Hey, I'm a back office intern for JP Morgan. We have a phonebook and can message literally any person in the company. I have found some MD's that are in areas I'm interested in. Is it acceptable to message them? I am a little worried they might try to contact my manager. Thoughts?

Hi/Dear MD,

My name is waltdisney (why do you charge so much for a day pass to your parks btw?), I'm currently interning in X (broad group e.g. Finance/Accounting/Ops) and recently saw (company/national news article about/related to their segment) and wanted to know more about your org as I seek to learn the bigger picture and businesses at JPMorgan. Do you have a couple of minutes to grab coffee this/next week?

Sincerely,

This email introduces yourself, but does not leave evidence of your intentions in case it is forwarded to your (vindictive?) manager. You will have to feel out the MD during coffee to see if they can introduce you to 1-2 more people in the front office and so forth.

Also will Mary Erdoes succeed Jamie?

26 Broadway where's your sense of humor?
