When I hop on the phone with some analysts, they end up giving one worded answers, acting like I’m wasting their time. I understand that some people have bad days, but why would you even agree to take the call if you don’t want to help or talk? It makes me feel pretty shitty ngl

Try asking questions that require a longer answer. Also try to be conversational rather than just firing off questions
They want a break from work sometimes and are just doing a favor to you sometimes. Make them want to be itnersted in the convo. Sometimes, they're also just soft-spoken and don't say much normally.
