Hi all,
I am currently holding offers from BAML and Lazard - both London and for SA. I was wondering how the two compare. BAML seem to have the better deal - go home at 10pm, no weekends, convert more interns. But from what I can tell Lazard London is the stronger bank.
Mostly care about i) converting and ii) exit ops to buyside and corp development. Please let me know your thoughts!

From what I heard, take Lazard. Better bank and better exits.
The Lazard sweat shop reputation which has permeated the street in New York does not apply to the culture at the bank in London. Had an old friend who works there and says the lifestyle isn't all that bad. I'd say you can't go wrong with Lazard... Very well respected.
It's very true in Paris. BAML has been doing very well in London lately. Hours are pretty bad for FT from what I can see among my friends. I would probably still choose it. You can't go wrong re: reputation and they tend to be at the higher end among BBs for bonuses in London
That's interesting. I would pick Lazard over any mid-tier BB in the US and would think the difference between the firms would be even greater away from BAML's home country. However, keep in mind I'm biased and know relatively little about standings in the UK.
Depends on group but generally Lazard is stronger in London. BAML's energy and power group is top notch though.
