When updating your resume for first year analyst positions, do you remove all other work experience (internships, etc.) and spend the majority of your resume discussing your deal experience?
Thanks.

Applying for 1st year positions? Need more information, but in general, discussing deal experience is always a plus.
No. As a first year analyst, should you be updating your resume by removing all of your prior internship experience and trying to fill everything with transaction experience?
You might want to include some internships but be extremely brief. This is assuming you are a first year analyst. And there is absolutely no way you can have one full page of highlights and accomplishments in your first year. You'll definitely want to use more space on other activities.
Remove it all? No. Cut down the bullet points to 2-3 on your prior and make your current 4-6. They are still helpful.
Iit's a marketing document, so include the items that someone reading it would care most about. Since it would look foolish to have 3/4 of the page dedicated to one year of experience, you should include relevant or impressive internships. You should leave off retail, food service, or lifeguard experience.
