Bang a buck rentals
Where is the best bang for your buck places to live in nyc? I don’t mind riding the subway for a 20-30 minute ride if it means I can have a nicer studio.
If my office was near upper times square, would it be reasonable to live outside the city?
I would really appreciate any insights as Im moving to nyc with no family/friends near.
mind went to someplace entirely different with your title....
UES, huge sleeper. Way bigger apartments, super safe, great restaurants, can afford to uber to meet up with friends. No brainer
Would it be worth it to live in the city the first year? With hybrid models I’m really considering living outside the city
Yes - if your giving so many hours into your job, dont give up on your social life aspect. Trust me, if you dont live in the city and a lot of your friends do, you are just missing out. Work hard play hard, not work hard in a demanding city and live in the bumblefucks.
Plus two solid subway lines that get you most places easily
Hell’s Kitchen for upper Times Square
Seems overpriced..
To be somewhere with a decent commute, Hell's Kitchen was the best prices I saw when I was looking.
