Had a first round phone interview about two weeks ago now. Actually emailed HR yesterday. Haven't heard a thing though. An old email I have said they would be following up for a first round in early Jan, so its possible they are still doing first rounds...

Anybody else get that email asking us to fill something out on Survey Monkey? Seems pretty generic, but I'm not sure what your application status has to be to receive an email like this...

Mentioned "You will hear of your application status by mid- February."

I had a BAML IBD first round interview a few days ago and I just received the same email as nontargetPSD92 asking me to fill out a Survey Monkey.

Did everyone who got a first round interview get this it seems pretty generic?

How was your first round interview? Purely fit or some technical questions also?

I got that email too, but i never had a "first round". I am a non target and I spoke with a BAML Associate in December,but nothing since then

It was mostly fit questions, 1 or 2 basic technicals and a bunch of questions about market news. What was your experience like? Did anyone who had a first round not receive this email?

I got notified to fill out the Survey Monkey today as well.

Had an interview with an associate on the 4th that was about 60% technicals and definitely through me off.

Mine was mostly fit. Only a few basic technicals. One market question. Pretty standard.

non-target, did first-round interview in late Dec, but did not get an email. I always thought that the superday invitation would be sent out either this week or next.

just got invited for first round for next week (target/semi-target).

could someone share what the survey was about?

I think this email means nothing because from people I talked to, they haven't made the decisions yet.

Just got an email from HR. I think this only applies to non targets, but super decisions have not been finalized. We will hear by jan 25th.

the generic "fill out this form" email does not mean anything according my point of contact who is fairly high up (I did get the email though). final round selections due to come out next week

Heard back. Got dinged. Was expected though. I f-d up my interview.

Is it safe to assume that whoever did not get the recommendation from the interviewers received the ding letter, and now HR is trying to cut down the number of recommended candidates for the final round?

What do you guys mean by referral? I had an MD on my side who even tried to prod me in the right direction during my interview, but unfortunately I was a nervous wreck since it was my first professional interview in my life. The sad part is that I know if this had been the 2nd place I interviewed with, I would have killed it.

Did anyone else get this? My survey email said we should hear back mid-Feb and it seems awfully early ... hmm

wtf is my school doing, we have on-campus BAML interviews next week. dafuq.

Called HR. More decisions coming out next week. But 25th is the deadline so I'm not sure about the mid-Feb thing.
