Bank of America Uk capital markets summer internship
I applied late in November for Bank of America uk summer internship b(capital markets & leveraged finance) am yet to receive a rejection as at now despite hearing that offers have been given out. Twice (December 2nd & 14th) I have received emails stating my application is "under consideration". Since I have heard no further feedback since then, am I to assume I have been rejected? Why have I not yet received a rejection email (so at least I can take my mind off Bofa)
Not sure about summer internships but I’ve applied to BOA springs and people say they don’t give out rejections.
I applied and interviewed for FT M&A coverage at Bofa this fall. They called me with the rejection after I emailed the responsible recruiters, but I still get "Under consideration" emails. I think they have not fully integrated their digital HR system or something like that.
By emailing recruiters do you mean emailing HR? Or your interviewers?
The interview was not for London/NYC, so the interviewer in charge of the recruitment process was one of the associates at the office.
You mean that you got an "under consideration" email after you heard on phone that you were rejected?
Yes, but the email is automated. I am sure they just forgot to press the "decline" button on me.
I emailed Bank of America specifically asking if my application was unsuccessful given that I have heard of people receiving offers. They replied stating that my application is under consideration. I don't know if the HR guy replying my email was simply out of touch or whether I still have hope 9f expecting an assessment centre.
