wanted your opinion if someone like myself can transfer into banking and what the likelihood is. am an associate in equity research at bulge bracket covering tech. looking to make the switch to banking. have you seen anyone make a switch from research? how did they do it?

typically you can move within the same sector from research to banking. but if you're junior enough 3 years, you can probably get a good look from many different firms.
spend more of your time focused on networking / using headhunters than dropping resumes on online job banks.
looking internal and external. talking to recruiters and networking but no luck yet. no leads either
