Banking resume for non-banking finance jobs... Is this a thing? Or non-banking jobs warrant non-banking resumes?

Say your last couple internship experiences have been at no-name regional boutiques, but given the scarce amount of full-time opportunities, you have to start considering other options within finance. Does one then reformat the style/language of their resume for things like F500 fldps and other unrelated types of finance jobs? I figure I'll keep the language/style the same for things like Valuation gigs and Transaction Advisory Services type of roles, but would it be more effective to switch it up for the other aforementioned jobs? I guess I just answered my own question lol but wanted to see if this is a common approach? I feel like "developing buyers list using capiq" and "supporting execution of m&a transactions" is kinda meaningless for FP&A, huh?

Very open to any and all suggestions. Hope everyone on the forums is doing okay during this recruiting season !
