I don't know much about Barclays, but compared to Moelis, I would say you should definitely go the Moelis route. They are really expanding heavily and will not be a "boutique" for long. They focus heavily on valuation and getting in is tougher than GS sometimes. So if you have Moelis, go for it. At least you will have more exit ops than Barclays...just my 2 cents.
