BB Analyst Pay Bump to 120/130k?

It's been a few years since the analyst base bump to 110k from 85k. With inflation and everything getting more expensive, when do we expect to see the next bump in base for investment banking analysts at BBs? And what do we expect the bump to be - match EBs at 120k or a more significant increase to say 130k?

It’s not just inflation that’s the factor - there’s a supply and demand aspect too. Back in 2021, there was a semi-mass exodus of juniors leaving the industry due to how brutal initial WFH was, and the banks needed to have a more clear value add vs. consulting and tech career paths to compete for students at target schools. Tech recruiting is dry rn, exiting is harder, and consulting is already getting impacted by the general economic environment and A.I.. Simply put, the employer is the one with the leverage rn, not the employee
