BB hopeful
hi all
im trying to get an idea of my chances for an FT position at a BB next year. I'm an economics major at a target (think ivy, not HYP). my gpa is lowish at a 3.2, but im the team captain for a top 10 nationally ranked sports team. i've had two finance internships at small boutique shops, and i have a strong network at a wide range of banks. will recruiters be able to overlook my grades, or am i done for?
any input appreciated
they will overlook your grades
They will overlook them.
I just chatted the other day with a dorky kid from a top 20 school with a 3.1 and without anything cool like being a team captain. I'm still going to forward his resume onto HR with a good word just because he was proactive, reached out to me, and seemed like a decent guy.
