BB IBD Analyst (EMEA) Phone Interview Prep

I have a phone interview with a BB bank (think JP Morgan, Goldman Sachs, etc.) in London for an IBD analyst position in the Global Industries Group. I have a couple years experience working in valuation and advisory. What kind of things should I expect with a phone interview for a London IB job? What is the BB London culture like? Anything would help.

I come from a non-target school.

I don't really get it. You have done a couple of years in valuation and advisory, but you are asking about phone interviews and BB culture?

In any case, there is not too much to worry about. I usually find the phone interviews to be more of a sanity-check where they try to see if you're normal. I have often had nice chats, so I never had to do technical questions over the phone, but it might happen that you get few of these. BB culture? Well... compared to what? I like it. Fun, driven and ambitious people, nice atmosphere, team feeling... at least in my bank.

P.s. If you have several years of previous experience, then the fact that you're from a non-target won't matter.
