Hey all - first time poster here. I've spent 1.5 years in a BB coverage group (MS / JPM) and am thinking of lateraling to an EB (Centerview / Moelis / PWP / Greenhill / EVR). I think that I'll probably get a lot better M&A exposure and experience/responsibility which would be useful down the road. What's the view on going from coverage at MS/JPM to an EB? Would PE/HF still be interested?

If you think the experience you'd gain at the EB is much more than you're currently getting in your coverage group I would switch. For PE/HF, experience matters way more than brand name.
IMO for PE/HF you stand a good chance now, you should aim for that if this is your long-term target. If you had a solid deal experience then you won't have problems.
