BB Summer Living Arrangements in HK

Has anyone heard from their banks on what their summer living arrangements will be in HK this year? I'm interning at a BB down there and the HR rep said that they will let me know once they finish reviewing company policy, whatever that means.

I really hope I don't have to go through the hassle of finding my own place. I figure if one BB is definitely offering housing, others will probably follow suit.

Thanks.

Kind of, I'm doing an MA program and while we don't really have OCR, we have a decent amount of alumni in the sector. We had a "resume drop" back in October where we submitted it to the alumni and I was called in for 3 rounds of interviews back in Jan/Feb.

Funny thing is that I didn't even apply for the HK office, I guess my resume just got forwarded there.

I think in the broader sense and from what I hear, everything is a lot more competitive this year for all offices. Given the current conditions in the industry and the fact that some of the most well-known firms now cease to exist, I believe it and I feel fortunate to be able to land anything for the summer.
