Behold! The BB10!

Feast your eyes, monkeys!

This is what some of you might be using in the very-near future. It's the latest creation out of Waterloo and, in the eyes of many, RIMM's last hope.

No word on specs at this point, but, given the design, what are your initial impressions? Will you mourn the loss of the physical keyboard?

this could be the spark they need though to revitalize their franchise among the general public. Not sure how businesses will react without its classic keyboard

Let's not forget that this is not the first of the BB's to not feature a physical keyboard. The BlackBerry Storm of 2008 and '09 was a touchscreen-only phone with a weird keyboard technology that nobody seemed to ever get used to. I have a difficult time believing that the BB10, by nothing more than its design, will bring RIM the "spark they need." They have a relatively-steady, though declining, client base in the corporate world, but their work is definitely cut out for them, and rising to the top once again will require a hell of a lot more than a relatively simple and generic redesign.

Short Rim forever. Glad to see them come out with a nice touchscreen. Too bad Apple and Android have been doing this for years. Sell RIM to HP, they like buying shit brands.
