Best C&R groups?
Wanna go into Consumer PE down the line and was wondering which banks / groups feed best into these types of funds. Better to stay in something applicable like M&A or would coverage C&R be better? BB vs EB?

MS is fine but their overall business model has shifted more towards markets/pwm than advisory imo
Bofa for Restaurant/Franchising/MUO deals. Boxwood & Northpoint are strong in the MM for Franchising & Restaurant. Piper Sandler is very strong as well.
Really? Doesn’t seem like they were involved in many of the big restaurant deals last couple of years

I have no skin in the game but they've pitched our portcos in the past and have always presented well. They also recently sold Coteria, Summer Fridays Dr. Squatch, Badia and Osea. That's legit
GS/JPM for BBs
Citi was also an exclusive advisor on the $33bn Mars deal that just closed this week so would say they are upcoming too (GS on the other side)
