As the title goes - what are the best MM tech groups, what makes you say so? How does the group rank up against other top shops?

Career Resources
Best sell side shops for software M&A are probably William Blair and Raymond James. Both place very well in MM PE and Tech GE. FTP is probably one of the best when it comes to FinTech and private placements if that’s your thing.
Harris Williams and Baird are both improving as well but not as dominant as the ones listed above.
Would actually disagree on HW - they were more of a top player a few years back but have lost some key MDs recently and if anything I’d argue they’re on the way down. Agreed on the rest though
Jefferies, Blair
Jefferies and Blair, perhaps Piper Sandler soon since they just bought out DBO Partners who killed it in software.
DBO was good, but their focus is quite narrow, and most deals in the tech space are focused on semiconductors and cybersecurity.
