Best Offer In the List
I am deciding between offers, but wanted feedback on which would set me up best for BB IB FT recruiting, B School down the road, and if I don't make it into IB after graduating, transferring into IB after B School. I am a Junior non-target.
Offers:
BofA Global Commercial Banking
Wells Fargo Corporate and Commercial Banking (they have not specified which)
Deloitte S&O
Intel corporate finance
I do not have offers from these, but am still interviewing:
Goldman PWM
MM IB
Feel free to explain why you chose what. Thanks for the help.
Try to get MM IB. Any relevant IB experience can propel you into more serious consideration by BB IB during FT.
Of what I'm seeing, I kinda like Well Fargo. SanFran is a great city to be a 20-something in; lower cost of living, a lot more chill. But the real question is did you like your interviewers there? Did you get a good vibe from them or did you feel like you clicked more somewhere else. Given that all four of these offers are at least pretty respectable, if you really liked a certain set of managers and they struck you as intelligent folks you can learn a lot from, I'd be leaning their direction.
he said he is deciding on summer internship offers and wants to go into BB IBD for full time and Bschool after, though. i don't think WF in San Fran for a summer is the best option if his intent is to get BB IBD for full time.
I would try for the MM IBD if that's a possibility, like someone else said, or the GS PWM if that's a possibility. Otherwise, maybe the BofA job because I'd assume that all else equal, it's easier to get a BofA IBD job if you summer there in a different division and then lateral.
Also, consider the location of each of these options. All else equal, it's better to be in NYC because that will make it easier to network and do info interviews and real interviews and stuff with BB I-banks, most of which are in NYC.
