Would like to get some recommendations, these could be based on the Jobs in Finance whether it be IB, PE or any sector of Finance tbh. I currently listen to Rareliquid.
Just trying to increase my knowledge of whats out there in terms of Career Paths, how the industry works etc from People who are in the Industry or was in the past. Essentially interviews with Finance Professionals who explain current Job, sector outlook, day to day tasks, Pros and Cons of the Jobs etc.
To get things started, I've checked out some of RareLiquids podcasts obviously and some interviews that HYP etc host with Execs

Breaking Into Finance
The Market Maker. Fantastic podcast. Very informative, talks about markets & M&A news each week (and explains stuff very simply but also touches more technical stuff). Also regularly interviews people in the industry.
Does it also include macroeconomic trends? Just want a podcast or news source that has macroeconomic trends, m&a trends, interest rates, etc for SA interviews
Yep, it's done by AmplifyMe who are an organisation who build simulations and offer programs to try and help ppl break into finance. It's probs the single best resource for learning about macroeconomics and finance. And it's done weekly. If I were applying to finance now, the first thing I would do is go back 5 months and listen to every episode they released since then. Will teach you more than any 200 page pdf can
