You can get 2000 cals of chipotle for 35$. If you can manage the other 1200 during the day I’d say that’s a pretty decent plan

Eat tons of chicken and salmon with every meal. 4-5 meals a day. Sleep more than 8 hours a night to better recover although I'd imagine difficult to do consistently in FT IB.
Muscle maker grill is a great value (name says it all). I don't recall if there is a location in lower manhatten. I know they have a couple in midtown.
Also Chick-Fil-A (hear me out) only get the grilled nuggets, you can get a ton of them (the 12 piece has 38g of protein, 200 calories, costs less than $8.00 i think) .Would invest in a high quality, relatively helathy dipping sauce if you go the Chick-Fil-A route as its about as bland as it gets.
Steak and eggs from a diner is a personel favorite of mine - I usually go with Moonstruck, know there's a few around the city
You could cheaply supplement some lower protein dense places either by meal prepping an extra chicken breast, protein powder or drink pausterized egg whites (a 500ml carton has 50g, 300 calories) taste isn't too bad. I usually mix a bit of sugar free choclate syrup and its honestly pretty good.
Chick-fil-A grilled nuggets drenched in Texas Pete hot sauce packets. Used to do 2 grilled sandwiches w the Texas Pete bc the bread makes it easier to eat, and honestly the carbs are needed if you’re grinding in the gym
Good tip, yeah i've always had a hard time balancing carbs as I don't really like eating / cooking most of the typical bulking ones like rice. I don't eat many most days other then some greens, fruit / avocado everyday then unhealthy ones on the weekend, but definetly need some carbs to perform better in the gym.

Chipotle. Use their macro calculator online. Makes bulking and/or cutting easy. I use my dinner budget to buy a burrito/salad for dinner and one for lunch the next day. Chipotle is life
