No need to do anything drastic - would recommend reading some of the classic IB/Finance novels to get an idea of some of the nuances of the industry, they also help you build up a base of knowledge about the history of the industry in general, might offer some perspective on the sort of area you might look to get into down the line. Examples - Liars Poker, Monkey Business, Too Big Too Fail, When Genius Fails, The Big Short etc
