1. HEC has a strong graduate programme.
  2. SSE is also mostly known for the placement from the graduate programme.
  3. For undergraduate i would go with Oxford - one of the few programmes that places really well on undergraduate level (few EBs does vast majority of recruitment from Oxford)

Importantly, it is quite common for students to take a 1/2 yr MSc before joining the analyst ranks. However, you will definitely see placements out of the undergraduate.

Sorry, just a big Oxford fan..

Some suggestions below. Not sure about fees, but very strong placements. 1) SSE 3+2 (Sweden) - mostly graduate level 2) HSG 3+2 (Switzerland) - mostly graduate level 3) HEC 3+1 (France) - mostly graduate level 4) Bocconi 3+2 (Italy) - seen good placement from undergraduate level 5) CBS 3+2 (Denmark) - decent placements in BB from graduate level, but an outsider nonetheless.

From what I have seen there is almost no placement from European bachelors into IB, unless you do undergrad in the UK. All the people I know who studied outside the UK (including myself) have MSc which most banks tend to compare to undergraduate studies done in the UK. This applies to Germans/French/Italians etc. Conversely, I have friends\colleagues who have only UK bachelors and they do IB. I know it doesnt sound too fair but this is how it works

I would tend to agree, but I don't think it is due to direct discrimination from London banks.

1) More IB on-campus recruitment / interviews for UK schools 2) Students outside of UK are not preparing early enough to receive FT offer already on undergraduate level (i.e. applying for spring internship already a few months into the first school year). 3) Many students have a 3+2 mindset. In local job markets it is often perceived to be very advantageous to have a MSc.

I think what OP is trying to inquire is which university would be a good choice to go for undergraduate studies, not necessarily whether any continental undergraduate programme places into IB in London.

Having said that, you will notice that typically the one or few best business schools per country send graduates (Mostly MSc) to London. Bocconi, HEC, ESSEC, RSM, HSG, SSE, ESADE, WHU, Mannheim, CBS all see students going to London, with varying amounts. As long as you go to one of these universities, it is up to you to build the work experience, academic merits and extracurriculars needed to have a shot.
