Big 4 Auditor in Nigeria looking to do MBA in the US

I work with a big 4 accounting firm in Nigeria. I am also a member of the ACCA and the Nigerian Accounting body - ICAN. Upon graduation from Uni, i took up a role as a Review Manager in a start up accounting firm that utilizes cloud accounting systems such as Sage One and Xero to prepare books for its clients. I was with the firm for 1.5 years before i moved to a big 4 accounting firm. I have been in big 4 for 3 years. I want to transition from Accounting to Finance and i have decided to take the MBA. I need advice on the Finance route that is more closely linked to Accounting which will make the transition easier. I am thinking of M&A, considering that M&A requires good knowledge of financial accounts interpretation.
