“The session with Javier was excellent. We started by going through our backgrounds - it was interesting to hear how he moved from IB to running his own real estate portfolio at a small PE firm. We then covered the behavioural part, which was very useful, and the technical part, with a good range of questions on accounting, valuation and DCF. He gave clear points for improvement, especially on structuring behavioural answers and preparing for the tougher questions that come up in PE interviews. Very grateful - thank you!”

my friends that start in the fall were offered 55k

location/group doesn't matter, you'll get paid the same in chicago/ny/sf - tax/audit/fas/tas

is this with BBA or MBA? Many schools offer a 5-year acctg program in which students can attain the MBA in just one additional year.

Also, what's the increase after passing CPA?

have a friend that just started in structured finance - 55k (he graduated with only undergrad)

have a friend working in FSA NY - 55k (only undergrad)

have more than a handful of friends that will start in audit and tax - 55k (masters students / undergrad)

the big 4's usually give you 2-3k extra each year if you have a Masters degree.
