Would I be able to lateral after a few years at a big 4 consulting firm in their S&O M&A division to an elite boutique like Lazard, Evercore or Guggenheim or a BB IB. I've recently decided I wanna be a career banker, but only have this option so was wondering if this move would be possible. Beyond this, if it were even possible to lateral to a EB/BB, could I then from there lateral to a MM PE shop or would I be pushing my luck at that point. Thanks!
