Birthright Excel Internship in Israel for Sophomore Year

I'm a sophomore at a nontarget. I've beens struggling with cold emailing people. After sending out ~75 emails I've gotten a 5% response rate. I signed up for the birthright trip and just got an email about something called Birthright Excel where they pair you with an Israeli company and you select 3 options. Three of them are IB, PE, and M&A consulting. Is this a good option? Has anyone done this before? If you haven't what do you think about getting an internship in Israel?

Can’t answer your questions about Birthright Excel but can answer anything related to interning in Israel. I also was a sophomore at a non-target and interned this past summer on a different program. Definitely a different experience than interning in the states. The language barrier can make the experience harder, especially if you do not know fluent Hebrew. During recruiting for summer 2019, interviewers were very interested in my internship and it definitely made for a good talking point. Birthright Excel would probably be the best program to intern in Israel. I know it has partnered with Barclays and Facebook in the past. An internship with a relevant company in Israel could be a great opportunity if you have no better options in the U.S.

I know it's not bad but it's pretty discouraging. I'd send out hundreds if it meant I'd get an internship and I will. March/April is when they do recruiting for Junior internships now so that'd be too late. I'm trying to confirm something by December/January so I can put Incoming x on my resume.
