for BIWS i recommend -> Financial Fundamentals --> Rosenbaum --> Adv. Modeling and take the Excel courses on the side if you have time. All the excel you need is already explained again during the videos so you don't need to take the excel part separately (nor is it really needed in my opinion)

What is your goal? Just go through the whole valuation course. I'm doing that right now and the course is very informative. I'm pairing it with a book as well for future interviews. If you are preparing for interviews, get the interview guide.

Goal: Be prepared for fall 2017 IB recruiting and land a 2018 summer internship.

As you have gone through the interview guide, have you come across anything that you would need to know from the excel/fundamentals or advanced financial modeling courses? I have a very limited background in excel, accounting, and corporate finance, so that is why I am not sure if I should take the excel/fundamentals and advanced financial modeling package before the ib interview guide.

If you have no experience with accounting (that seems to be the case judging from your other post in this thread), get The Accounting Game. Yes, it looks like a kid's book, but IMO it really is the best introductory accounting book. Then, read through How to Read a Financial Report: Wringing Vital Signs Out of the Numbers. Once you feel that your understanding of accounting is at least pretty decent, get the Investment Banking book from Rosenbaum & Pearl. I would get the The Accounting Game brand new because there are in-book exercises, but you can get the others used or even an older edition if you want to save money.

As for BIWS, I would get the interview guide and the basic financial modeling course. The advanced financial modeling course is good, but it's overkill and not needed. WSO also offers a discount for Wall Street Prep, but I have not personally taken the WSP self-taught class (the in-person classes are great, though).
