Blackstone Advisory FT Analyst Interviews

I've been trying to figure out how to best prepare for Blackstone Advisory FT interviews, but all I've been able to find is general advice stating the interviews are among the most technical on the Street. Does highly technical mean I should have taken an Advanced corporate finance or similar course in addition to interview guides? Has anyone interviewed for this position/know someone who has that could give more specifics? Many thanks in advance.

They were big on understanding the concepts behind the answers. it's like starting out with the BIWS questions and delving to see why the answers are right if that makes sense. If I were you, I'd probably go through the BIWS guide again and try to explain why X is the answer.
