General consensus is:

HC, M&A, Industrials > NatRes >> Consumer, UK >> TMT >>> RE, FSG

FIG is somewhere in the middle, probably with NatRes or Consumer/UK, though that's a lot more dependent on your personal preferences in terms of the industry.

Note that the above is the rough general consensus, but obviously the best team for each person depends on what they are looking for exactly.

Happy to help out or discuss anything specifically.

Your comment on HC is fair. It's no longer what it used to be...

But not sure I agree on the part about UK/Consumer. Surely exits to large cap PE are in line with the general consensus ranking above, and I don't see why it should be different?

Agree with what the "Delete" said.

Consumer is a fairly lean team, and had nearly only good exit in recent past from what I also heard. Besides as it is small you likely get to work on deals. UK just a bigger team and you have to consider if you like the Broking element? To be honest not sure why TMT also ranked bad, think they better these days

M&A Team in EMEA also known to do mostly admin/process workstreams and often not even on deals (only sector + country teams).
